The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your invisible office — names, phone numbers, and the content of the messages the service handles. Your business data lives in a Google Sheet you own. We never sell data, we never send marketing without consent, and STOP always works.
DashHub Inc. ("DashHub", "we") provides text-and-voice business automation for trades and service businesses in Canada. We are the operator of the service and, for the personal information described below, the organization responsible under Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA).
Operational records (leads, quotes, invoices, job logs) are stored in Google Workspace spreadsheets and documents that belong to the operator's own account wherever possible — meaning the business you contacted owns its records, not us. Messages are transmitted via Twilio; voice notes are transcribed via OpenAI's Whisper service for the sole purpose of generating the quote or booking requested. These providers act as service processors and may process data in the United States.
DashHub is built to comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. If you text a DashHub-powered number, replying to your request is the extent of it — you will not receive marketing messages unless you explicitly opt in, and every conversational thread honours STOP (instantly and permanently opts you out) and HELP (routes you to a human).
Operator business records are retained for as long as the operator keeps them (they own the files). DashHub's own operational logs (delivery records, error logs) are retained for up to 24 months for reliability and compliance purposes, then deleted.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@dashhubhq.ca or texting HELP to any DashHub-powered number. We respond within 30 days. If you're unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll post the update here with a new date — and for material changes affecting operators, we'll text you. It's how we do everything else, after all.
